Heating: electricity or wood fire
A conventional jetted spa runs on electricity: it needs a permanent connection and stays at temperature. A wood-fired hot tub heats with a wood stove: you light it for the occasion, and it only needs electricity if you add options.
Jets and massage
Massage is the spa’s strength. Our wood-fired hot tubs can be fitted, as options, with an air-bubble system (12 nozzles) or hydromassage (8 or 12 jets), with or without LEDs; it needs a power supply. The Ofuro models do not offer one.
Installation and atmosphere
A wood-fired hot tub stands on a flat, load-bearing base, with a water point, a drain and a chimney position compatible with local rules. Its wood cladding and fire make it a garden feature in its own right.
